Hi, my name is Mike Consol. I'm president of MikeConsol.com, which provides communications training in three critical areas:

- PowerPoint presentation skills
- Business writing seminars
My firm helps companies build their communications prowess in ways that enhance their brand, attract new talent and boost sales.
At root, I'm a journalist with a long and successful career as a reporter, editor, publisher, interviewer, writing and reporting coach, and public speaker.
I spent 17 years with American City Business Journals, the nation's largest publisher of metropolitan business journals with 40 weekly newspapers across the United States. I held a variety of key posts while at ACBJ, including:

I was also managing editor of the Los Angeles Business Journal, and news editor of the Pasadena Star-News.
